Lynne Roberts is an American professional basketball coach who most recently served as the head coach for the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women’s National Basketball Association. Over the years, she has also served as head coach at Chico State, Pacific, and Utah.
She won the Big West Conference coach of the year, and the team came to be known as the “Cardiac Kids” in 2013. Roberts was dismissed as the head coach of the Sparks on September 25, 2026.

After graduating from Seattle Pacific, Roberts continued her studies there to earn a master’s degree. In 2002, Roberts was appointed head coach at Chico State, where she coached from 2002 to 2006 and compiled an 86–31 record. In 2006, Roberts was named head coach at the University of the Pacific. After a few impressive initial seasons, Roberts helped the Tigers achieve a record 27 wins in 2013.
