Tamar Estine Braxton was born on 17 March 1977 in Severn, Maryland, to Michael and Evelyn Braxton. She is 48 years old as of 2025. She began signing as a toddler. She attended Archbishop Spalding High School and graduated from there. Tamar has five siblings named Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Michael Conrad Braxton Jr., and she is the youngest.
